Byambaa ENKHMART

B.Enkhmart was born in Bayangol soum of Selenge aimag. Enkhmart completed her secondary schooling from Lycée number 21 of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, and graduated as a journalist from the “Ikh Mongol” college in 2009, from where she did her Masters degree in journalism in 2013, and also obtained her Master’s degree in jurisprudence from the “Global Udirgdagch” (Global Leader) college in 2024. 
From 2009, she worked as a reporter with the Department of Investigative Journalism and Operative Information of the daily newspaper “Önöödör” (Today) and in 2011, she joined the “Mongolian Economy” magazine, where she worked as its Responsible Secretary. After that in 2015, she worked as a reporter in the Investigative Journalism Department and later as Responsible Secretary of the “Ündesnii Shuudan” (National Post) daily and since 2020, she has been working as the Chief Editor of the Ergelt.mn.
 In 2017, she won the Grand Prix of the “Baldorj Award” for best journalism with her series of reports called “Saigas with Tears.” In 2015, she published her book on wild animals called “The wheatear on the bluish horse-dung,” and a book on journalism called “My Essays” in 2016. In 2022, her book entitled “You Are Simply Too Humble” was published in the serial “Circulating Library.” And in 2023, she published a book on poems, which she had co-authored, called “Four Different Autumn.” Her works have also been published in Volume 88 of “Best Mongolian Features.”

—    Recipient of the “Jamsrangiin Tseveen Prize” - the highest award of the Mongolian Journalists’ Union - 2024.
