The Last Nomads, a profile book published by the Mongolian news outlet Ergelt.mn, was launched in Rome, Italy, on November 17, 2025.
The launch was attended by Ts. Narantungalag, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Italian Republic; Professor Davor Antonucci of the Department of Oriental Studies at Sapienza University of Rome; Cristina Giudici, Professor of Demography and Social Statistics; Vatican journalist C. Leonardo; and student researchers from Luiss University.
The event took place during the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Italy, a milestone that participants said made the introduction of a journalistic work documenting Mongolian life, history and culture particularly meaningful.
Guests noted that the book, published in Mongolian and English, will serve as a resource for ordinary readers and academic researchers interested in contemporary Mongolia. Ambassador Narantungalag expressed appreciation to attendees and wished success to the journalists behind the publication.
